Things you might want to know about the band before coming to see us (or booking us!) ...

Where are you guys from?  Where do you play?

We’re all from New Jersey.  Four of us live in the central part of the state, in Monmouth County.  The fifth lives in south Jersey, near Philadelphia.  Most of our shows are in New Jersey, but we often venture into Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York as well.

What kinds of venues do you play?

Our music tends to fit best in larger clubs and in theatres.  While we’re not a “bar band,” we’ll occasionally play smaller venues if the situation is right.

Are you a tribute band?

In a sense, yes – in that we pay tribute to the genre of progressive rock.  But we don’t “play dress-up” to look like the actual artists did fifty years ago the way some bands do.  We focus on getting the music right first and foremost!

Where can I see examples of your performances?

We have lots of videos of the band in action on YouTube (click the link in the page footer below), and some at the Videos link on this site as well.

How much do you charge for a performance?

Our fee structure will depend on the venue, the structure of the show, and the likely size of the audience.  Please contact us at (732) 757-9281, or at booking@legionofprog.com, to begin the conversation.

Will you customize your show to fit our specific needs?

Yes, we will!  Please review the discussion at the What We Do link on this site.

Do you take requests at your shows?

We can’t usually take requests in real time, as the style of music we play is often complex and requires a bit of rehearsal.  But we might surprise you every so often …

How can we find out more about you?

We keep this site regularly updated on current band happenings.  We also maintain a regular presence on Facebook – click the link in the page footer below to check out (and join) our page there.

What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

What do you mean … an African or European swallow?  (Sorry, couldn’t resist that one …)
